Abstract

During the recent electoral campaign, seven of the nine candidates declared themselves for a “new Constitution for Chile”. Main criticisms formulated to the current text: 1º. Close link with the authoritarian regime 1973-1990; 2nd. Precarious recognition of the rights of economic, social and cultural content; 3rd.
