Abstract

Recently, the foreign agenda of the People's Republic of China (PRC) has expanded considerably. Today Beijing is resettling itself in an enlarged Asia, which it perceives as a source of great opportunities and threats: an enormous space of intelligibility continues and that encompasses Siberia, the South West Asia, and even the Middle East. To visualize unsuspected paths of relationship, the observers and actors of the American Pacific will have to maintain an extensive and meticulous effort of analysis of China and its surroundings. And hence the meaning of the in-depth study of the new axes that Beijing revalues. It is urgent that the Ibero-American world find expanded formulas for physical positioning in Asia, whose center will be China. But this is impossible without a more active participation than ever of the different social actors, the partnership of countries, and a large investment in knowledge.
