Abstract

The transformations of the last decades in the productive and social field of Capital have reformed the processes and institutional practices of the production of subjectivity. This paper exposes some of the results of a research that seeks to describe and analyze in an exploratory way the processes in which the discursivity of the State of Chile deployed between 1992 and 2011 emerges as referential territory for the subjects, specifically in the field of those so-called disabled bodies. The study was carried out understanding that these changes occur from ruptures and continuities that display flexible intelligibility fields that govern the life of the subjects. The notion of governmentality refers according to Foucault to the government of the population based on the assembly of government technologies and political rationalities in certain societies. In the framework of studies on governmentality, in this article we present some guidelines that we have identified to understand the new logics of behavior conduction and its constitution as intervention policies that modify in a single movement the subjectivity and materiality of the bodies classified and marked as different.
